.beginning of the end.

This is for ~poisonousxshroom for winning my Kiriban.

She wanted my rendition of her character Mai.

Mai is a coyote shapeshifting gypsy living in a post-apocalyptic world. She's feisty, free-spirited, and usually just up to no good.


I am usually very against drawing peoples characters BUT she won the contest therefore got whatever it is she wanted me to draw. Despite my angst for drawing characters I enjoyed doing this and had an idea for it almost instantly. I wanted to show that it was a post-apocalyptic world without having to actually show it. I hope that came across :/

_{I just hope I didn't make her too girly. I was afraid I played a bit too much on the gypsy part and not enough on proper apocalyptic attire xP}

Also, I had to take a picture of it rather than scan it because I did it on a huge piece of watercolor paper, so a bit of it got cut off :/
